H\u00f8jt over Danmarks kraftv\u00e6rker holder autonome droner udstyret med avanceret AI konstant \u00f8je. De inspicerer lagre af biomasse, detekterer potentielle brande og overv\u00e5ger det omkringliggende omr\u00e5de.<\/p>


Denne vision er ved at blive til virkelighed med PERSIST (Persistent Drone Operations at Critical Infrastructure) \u2013 et forskningsprojekt ledet af Syddansk Universitet, Aalborg Universitet, drone- og AI-virksomheden Robotto samt energileverand\u00f8rerne HOFOR og \u00d8rsted.

<\/p>

Projektet viser, hvordan banebrydende AI-forskning kan omdannes til praktiske l\u00f8sninger, der beskytter mennesker, milj\u00f8et og kritisk infrastruktur \u2013 samtidig med at driftsomkostninger reduceres, sikkerheden \u00f8ges og en gr\u00f8nnere, mere modstandsdygtig energiforsyning styrkes.

PERSIST afspejler ogs\u00e5 DIREC\u2019s mission om at bygge bro mellem forskning, industri og samfund. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTeknologien bygger p\u00e5 edge AI-teknikker, som kan arbejde lokalt p\u00e5 dronen \u2013 hurtigt og med store pr\u00e6cision. Med computer vision kan dronen identificere biomassem\u00e6ngder og registrere indtr\u00e6ngende p\u00e5 omr\u00e5det. Samtidig kan multi-drone algoritmer koordinere opgaver p\u00e5 tv\u00e6rs af droner i realtid, mens en sprogmodel g\u00f8r det muligt at styre missioner med et prompt.

Robotto builds edge-AI drone systems for time-critical missions\u2014search-and-rescue, wildlife protection, and security. PERSIST gives us a unique opportunity to push that technology from single flights to a fully autonomous, multi-drone service that can patrol biomass power plants around the clock.
