Young researcher entrepreneurship bootcamp

Yearly, DIREC invites young researchers who want to develop their entrepreneurial knowledge, skills, and mindset to the “Young Researcher Entrepreneurship Bootcamp”.

The bootcamp aims to grow an entrepreneurial mindset to benefit current research and future careers.

Whether the participant’s future career lies in academia, working for a large-scale organization or running their own business, the course can help prepare the participant.

The course is specifically targeting issues related to entrepreneurship and the establishment of university-based startups within the fields of AI, data science and computer science. This applies to the use of AI models in practical production, commercialization of software and collaboration in relation to IP with the university.

The course is developed by DTU in close collaboration with other universities and relevant key players in computer science and university-based entrepreneurship, including DIREC, Pioneer Centre for AI and Venture Cup.

“It was the best course in my PhD life!”
“It was very interesting. I was confused whether to do a startup, but now I am sure that one day I will do it.”
“As a result of this course, I am more likely to consider entrepreneurship as an actual career path.”
