Welcome to our new Board Member in DIREC

Stine Hegelund Bertelsen is Director General of the National Agency for IT and Learning, where she is responsible for a portfolio of more than 100 IT and data solutions within the education sector. She leads the agency’s efforts to strengthen learning and well-being among children, young people and adults through IT, digitalisation and data.

Stine has more than 10 years of experience in senior leadership roles within IT, digitalisation and innovation in the Danish public sector, including positions at the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Business and Competitiveness. Her particular areas of focus include digital sovereignty, user-driven development, emerging technologies and the development of robust digital solutions that benefit citizens and society.

We look forward to working with Stine and to the insights and experience she will bring to DIREC’s continued efforts to bridge digital research, industry and society.
